Our Soccer School is primarily aimed at Boys & Girls aged 5-7 as an introduction to the FUN of Football...
Although this is where they will learn the Basic Skills needed to play, they are also introduced to TEAMWORK and DISCIPLINE in a Fun, Safe and friendly environment. ALL of our Instructors and Parent helpers have undergone and passed the F.A.'s Criminal Records Bureau(C.R.B.)certification Process. The Soccer School has it's own qualified First-Aider and part of the Club attaining the 'F.A's Charter Standard',means that all of our Teams either have or will by the end of June 2007, an F.A.LevelI or II qualified instructor.
As you see, we at WALDERSLADE F.C. take the developement,Safety and enjoyment your child recieves whilst they are with us, very seriously; but unlike a lot of CLUBS we are not a 'Win at all costs Club' and endeavour to provide football to Children of ALL ages and ALL abilities, where possible. We believe that your child will enjoy their Football with Walderslade F.C. so why not come along and Join in the Fun!!
Would moving kids' football to a summer game help improve the development of young footballers?
Yes - better pitches mean a better chance to develop technique/skills
No - wouldn't make any real difference to development
Maybe - but I'd be worried about more injuries on firm pitches
