Walderslade's first foray into the adult game had brought immediate success as the Sunday league side won the Medway Messenger Sunday Football League Combination Division at the first attempt.
With a number of new players on trial at the club the pre-season has started as the we left off last season with success in the MMSFL 7 a side pre-season tournament, reaching the semi final stage, the lowest league team in the tournament to reach the second stage of the competetion. Victory also in our first 11 a side pre-season match against Pentagon, stands us in good stead for our challenge in Division 3 next season.
Keep a track how the team gets on in the coming season and why not come along and support us next season at our home pitch, which is currently at Barnfields at the bottom of Wayfield Road, near the driving range.
