ABOUT THE TEAM

Welcome to the Walderslade Under 12 Girls Team site.

The teams aims for this year are to have fun, stay fit & healthy, and try their hardest to win during the season.

We have a great mix of girls, some have played football before and others are new to the sport this year.

It is great to see so many Girls who like playing football, we have 15 Girls at training which is really important.

Any girl who is in Year 7 at school and is interested in playing, or just wants to have a go is welcome to contact the club for more information.

Would moving kids' football to a summer game help improve the development of young footballers?
Yes - better pitches mean a better chance to develop technique/skills
No - wouldn't make any real difference to development
Maybe - but I'd be worried about more injuries on firm pitches
